Waste styrofoam can be recycled waste styrofoam by using SEHO Engineering’s machine.
Styrofoam had introduced first at 1974 in Korea, and called as styrofoam or EPS(Expandable Polystyrene). This styrofoam is expandable production by steam after injecting hydrocarbons(i.e. pentane or butane) to polystyrene resin. Generally, styrofoam is composed of 98% air and 2% resin, and in use for various purpose such as packing of electric machine, box for farm/fishing, styrofoam for fishing, heat insulation for buildings, etc. Several countries(USA, Canada, Australia, etc. are use for more various purpose than Korea.
Even though it is possible to recycle thermoplastic resin of waste styrofoam, almost countries have recycled very small amount because of transportation problems(about 50kg per 1 ton truck) in a past. The portion of recycling is growing up more and more in a recent.
Many korean EPS users are faced to environmental problems like shortage of landfill after application of regulation for volume-rate disposal system in 1995.
Recycling machine has been developed/produced by SEHO Engineering, and changed waste styrofoam to important resource. This saves cost to treat waste styrofoam, and refunds benefit from recycling waste to customers.
