I think that everything said made a lot of sense. However, think about this, what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your information isn't good., but suppose you added a headline that grabbed a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and see how they create post headlines to get people to click. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to grab people excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.
